Sweetz Updates: Valentines Day

It was our 2nd valentines’ day spent together.

Darling didn’t mention much on where we would be celebrating; all he said was “meet you at East coast Big Splash.”

He started the night saying we were going to Carl’s Junior for dinner. Knowing him, i know this place was eliminated. He continued, “ok, it’s actually KFC we are going.” I replied, “don’t bluff, we are eating at o’town cafe!”

Finally, i said, “you must be bringing me to the restaurant looking the sea…”
And yes, we were at Twenty-Six, a very nice restaurant cum chillout place.

Upon finishing our dinner, darling made me do some ‘exercise’ but walking around the outdoor restaurant for my present!

I can’t believe what we are doing recently…

I still read forum, but i have been reading up Singaporebrides forum whenever i have the time, and viewing all the romantic clips from other couples. Some videos made me teared.

Every time i woke up in the morning, i would see darling reading the forum. Each time i opened the excel sheet we are working on, something new would catch my attention. I can’t help it but to feel blessed that darling is enjoying the whole process with me. Yes, i use the word enjoy before we are really enjoying the wedding plan and i think couple shouldn’t be stressed or frustrated. You are not alone!

I like it to see darling’s expression whenever others discussing about our wedding. He would be smiling quietly to himself. SO CUTE CAN!

I’m so blessed to have darling. He did all the research himself! He did up the excel files to keep track of our expenses and the guest list. He read up SingaporeBrides.com and the forums for reviews. I thought this kind of thing only ladies would bother to do. But seem like he did more research than me. I only bother to look at pretty gowns here. LOL!!!!

Still remember back in year 2004… After i swiped my card at Taipei for my ever first MacBook… Mama called me like immediately…

Mama: 你买什么? 花了这么多贱!!!

Zhen: 我刚买了苹果.

Mama: 什么苹果这么贵?

Zhen: 那个被咬一口的苹果咯…

Then i didn’t spend on any Apple product… Too broke cause i went back to study…

Till early 2009, Darling bought me iPhone 3G. And i love my phone even till now! It’s love…

This Christmas, we have iPad Wifi + 3G. My darling is so lucky! He won this iPad from his company dinner. Yeah!

Bridal Package

Supposedly, we wanted to know more about the bridal packages in the market.

I have an appointment with xx at 2.30pm, but we were early. As there are a few bridal shop at Tanjong Pagar, we went into The Dream Wedding to look only.

The assistants shared with us their photo albums, the gowns, etc and we just love the quality despite the higher premium. The gowns are stunning! Best, we are going HK to take our pre-wedding shoot! We will be out in the middle of the sea taking our shoot on yacht! How cool is that! I’m sooooo looking forward!

The assistants are amazed how darling and i got similar tastes and discussion was so smooth. He likes = I like.

Now we left with Pre-wedding videography, Actual day videography and photography…

Sentosa Site Visit

Something in our mind…

Sea, sunset, villa, clear blue sky, away from the city feel.

Hence, our first choice was to have our wedding at Bali. However, parents objected to the idea and we did some research together and thought Amara Sanctuary is quite a good choice. Other venues we thought of include Capella, The Sentosa, One Degree 15 Cove, Raffles Marina, The Keppel Island, etc…

And… Our first site visit was Amara Sanctuary and we just felt in love with the first choice in Singapore. The glass pavilion, the wedding bell, the resort feel, the outstanding ballroom, the exclusive cocktail reception area, the villa and the list just goes on…

The only problem with this place now is the date availability… Our auspicious date is on 15 Oct 2011. But the ballroom is not longer available. We are checking with them the other available dates and we shall work on that…

More or less, this is the place we wanted the magical day to happen.
